Dubbing For Anime Workshop w/ Mami Okada!
Mami is the Head Casting Director at BangZoom Studios, focusing on Anime!
When you book a part on an anime series or movie, your recording session will be dubbing over the original Japanese voice. In this workshop, learn the craft of ADR/Dubbing to picture and how to "match the flaps" of a character on screen. A necessary skill for anyone wanting to voice anime characters!
Format Note: Mami will begin with an intro and then assign cold reads. Each actor will work, and be provided recording/redirects/feedback.
Sides Note: Please do not prepare sides/copy for this workshop. Mami will provide copy for cold reading. During each of the cold reads, she will direct and offer tips on how to best approach Anime copy for auditions.
