Animation Workshop w/ Meredith Layne!
Emmy®-award winning casting director Meredith Layne has worked in live-action and animation on both feature films and television. On staff with Nickelodeon Animation until 2018, she cast TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (2013 Emmy Award), KUNG FU PANDA: LEGENDS OF AWESOMENESS (2012 Emmy Award), PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR (2011 Emmy award) and many others. She has also worked with Disney Feature Animation and Pixar Animation, and has taught voice-over for DreamWorks Animation.
Now a freelance Casting and Voice Director, Meredith is working on CASTLEVANIA for Netflix, BEE & PUPPYCAT and BRAVEST WARRIORS for VRV, and several unannounced projects for Netflix and Amazon.

Format Note: Meredith will begin with an intro and then assign cold reads. Each actor will work, and be provided recording/redirects/feedback.
Sides Note: Please do not prepare sides/copy for this workshop. Meredith will provide copy for cold reading. During each of the cold reads, she will direct and offer tips on how to best approach Animation copy for auditions.
