ONLINE Videogame Class w/ Jessica Kent!
Jessica Kent has spent more than10 years in the VO industry. From her first years in talent representation, she moved on to head up voiceover for the gaming division at Riot Games.
Over the last 6 years, she has been behind some of the most successful Champions in League of Legends in addition to growing Riot’s newest offerings out of R&D. Being immersed in the development process allowed her to hone a unique perspective in directing, casting and producing.
It is with a passion for games and her distinct skill-set that she is now working as a VO director/consultant, assisting developers in defining each game’s unique voice and executing toward high quality narrative that makes fantastical worlds come to life
Our new ACE VO online Zoom workshop format will be:
- Before the workshop, Sara will pass along scripts/sides for the participants
- You will record yourself voicing the side, and email Sara your mp3 file(s) (The deadline for emailing Sara your mp3, will typically be 5pm two days before the workshop. If you are a late sign-up, you can send in later and will work that out with Sara :)
- Sara will pass along your audio files to the guest director who will review your mp3s before the workshop
- In the workshop, our guest director will give notes on the audio files, both on performance and home audio quality, re-directs if they so choose, and engage in a Q&A
