Vocal Combat Technique: Gun Shot Wounds / Power Ups/Attack Sounds
Learn how to create the vocal effects needed for video games in the healthiest way possible. Getting shot shouldn’t sound like a poke in the stomach. Learn how to effectively create painful sounds without hurting your voice. Learn how to add growl to your voice to increase the aggression in your voice for “power-ups” and swinging attacks. This workshop will begin with how to warm up to prepare for this target sound.
Before class you will email Sara an mp3 of you recording yourself trying out a few efforts that we will then discuss in class.
