ONLINE Animation Class w/ Ashley DeWitt!
Ashley Nguyen DeWitt has worked in voiceover for a decade, cutting her teeth at 20 years old as an intern and sound engineer for a commercial voice casting company. She then hopped around different companies/studios and eventually worked her way into becoming an animation voice and casting director. Her casting and voice directing credits include Ada Twist, Scientist and the Steven Universe Anti-Racism Initiative. She's also provided voices for Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures, as well as singing a jingle for the King Arthur Baking Company's 2020 Holiday Campaign.
Our new ACE VO online Zoom workshop format will be:
- Before the workshop, Sara will pass along scripts/sides for the participants
- You will record yourself voicing the side, and email Sara your mp3 file(s) (The deadline for emailing Sara your mp3, will typically be 5pm two days before the workshop. If you are a late sign-up, you can send in later and will work that out with Sara :)
- Sara will pass along your audio files to the guest director who will review your mp3s before the workshop
- In the workshop, our guest director will give notes on the audio files, both on performance and home audio quality, re-directs if they so choose, and engage in a Q&A
