ONLINE Anime Class w/ Steve Staley!
Steve is a Director for Anime!
Steve Staley began his VO career in the early 90's after attending Chapman University in Orange, CA. Working in all aspects of Voiceover from commercials to theatrical film and television to animation, original and dubbed, he is best known for roles in anime. Neji from Naruto, Hitsugaya and Hisagi from Bleach are among his most notable roles. He also played Kadaj in the feature film Finaly Fantasy VII - Advent Children.
As a dialogue director, Steve has worked on a number of recently popular shows such as Demon Slayer (the series), as well the upcoming feature Demon Slayer - Mugen Train. Kakgururi, Sword Gai, Hero Mask as well as the the thriller The Promised Neverland are other notable casting credits.
Steve is also an accomplished singer and teacher drawing on years of work and classroom experience.
Our new ACE VO online Zoom workshop format will be:
- Before the workshop, Sara will pass along scripts/sides for the participants
- You will record yourself voicing the side, and email Sara your mp3 file(s) (The deadline for emailing Sara your mp3, will typically be 5pm two days before the workshop. If you are a late sign-up, you can send in later and will work that out with Sara :)
- Sara will pass along your audio files to the guest director who will review your mp3s before the workshop
- In the workshop, our guest director will give notes on the audio files, both on performance and home audio quality, re-directs if they so choose, and engage in a Q&A
