ONLINE Animation Class w/ Rick Zieff!
Rick Zieff casts, directs and acts in all media. He voices roles on “The Cuphead Show”, “We Bare Bears”, “Clarence”, “Infinity Train”, “Space Racers”, “Yo-Kai Watch”, “Olivia”, and is thrilled to be in his eighth year as Spike the Dog on "The Tom and Jerry Show" (Daytime Emmy nomination). Animation directing credits include Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (co-director) “Get Blake", “Sherwood”, “Techtopia” (currently in development), “Jazzmine and Skeet”, and he cast and directed the Alternate Reality Games “The Dark Knight”, “The International”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Tron: Legacy”, and “Dig”. Of particular note is his casting of “The ChubbChubbs!”, winner of an Oscar® for Best Animated Short Film.
Our ACE VO online Zoom workshop format will be:
- Before the workshop, Sara will pass along scripts/sides for the participants
- You will record yourself voicing the side, and email Sara your mp3 file(s)
- Sara will pass along your audio files to the guest director who will review your mp3s before the workshop
- In the workshop, our guest director will give notes on the audio files, both on performance and home audio quality, re-directs if they so choose, and engage in a Q&A
