Chadwick's Lesson Plan For All Workshops:
WE will ALWAYS start with a group Q&A. In this open forum, we will discuss:
· Introduce himself, his resume , talk about projects that he is able to discuss working on, and how his office works.
· General audition tips, Business tips and Educational information
· The difference between auditioning
· The importance of being prepared, and the importance of honing cold reading skills.
· How important it is for them to keep their headshot/resume, websites (Breakdown, IMDB, etc.) updated.
· Actors are encouraged to bring as many questions as possible. Mr. Struck love answering questions and giving actors insight to the business.
After the Q&A, actors will perform scenes. The performances will be:
· One-on-One setting, where we can work together with feedback and /or direction on the scene.
· If more questions arrive in either of these settings, they too will be answered.
He will provide feedback and/or re-directs whenever possible. He will not be taking the headshots, but actors should still bring them so he can provide feedback and comments on both pictures and resumes.
Sides Note: For this workshop, please follow our standard sides policy. Please prepare any scene that has been pre-approved (or listed on Script Clips). It must NOT run longer than three minutes. Always bring a second copy for the reader, with their lines highlighted and your name at the top.
Format Note: Dynamic Duo. After the Q & A, 2 actors will go into the room at the same time. They will perform one at time, while the other watches the feedback and redirection. Once both actors have performed, they will leave and the next duo will come in the room.
