Free Event! Co-Star Crash Course w/ Cara Chute!

This workshop is TOTALLY FREE!

Come meet talent manager Johnny Webster (Industry Entertainment) at ACE!

The class will begin with a group Q&A, followed by scenework w/ Johnny - after you perform, you are free to go!

Sides Note: For this workshop, please follow our standard sides policy. Please prepare any scene that has been pre-approved (or listed on Script Clips). It must NOT run longer than three minutes. Always bring a second copy for the reader, with their lines highlighted and your name at the top.

Format Note:  Dynamic Duo. After the Q & A, 2 actors will go into the room at the same time. They will perform one at time, while the other watches the feedback and redirection. Once both actors have performed, they will leave and the next duo will come in the room.

CO-STAR CRASH COURSE 
Ever wonder what to do with those short nondescript co-stars? This class will focus on how to channel your best self into these short scenes, and look behind the curtain at what goes enduring these auditions. You will be randomly assigned a short, generic co-star scene on the day of and asked to prepare them for 2 different auditions. Scenes will be performed in front of the class as a whole. Please be sure that you can stay for the entirety of this class.
 
 
Cara Chute Rosenbaum is an Associate Casting Director at an extremely busy TV/Film office where she handles multiple comedy and drama series. Past television credits include: "The People vs OJ Simpson" (FX), "The League" (FXX), "The Last Man On Earth" (FOX), "Gang Related" (FOX), and many more. She and Erica Silverman Bream are the MainStage Casting Directors for The Blank Theatre Company in Hollywood. She has also cast many award winning short film and indie projects.
