Treadwell/Kelly Casting’s Lesson Plan For All Workshops:
In Jennifer’s class segment, she will be educating actors on the behind the scenes Casting Process. She will begin with an introduction / brief bio on how she became a casting director and share a few fun facts about her journey. Then she will get into the step-by-step of a typical process for casting TV/FILM projects from the Casting Director’s perspective, attempting to show the class how much actually goes on behind the scenes beyond the audition room that leads to finding the perfect cast.
In Monica’s segment, she will address the auditioning process. She will begin with a quick bio and then then she will give advice on preparing for auditions and what to expect at an audition. She will go over the ‘do’s and don’ts’ and ‘pet peeves’. She will discuss general parameters for self-tapes.
Following the lessons, Jennifer and Monica will watch actors prepared scenes and provide feedback. They will also provide feedback on headshots and resumes.

Format Note: This class will also use a full group setting!
Sides Note: For this workshop, please follow our standard sides policy. Please prepare any scene that has been pre-approved (or listed on Script Clips). It must NOT run longer than three minutes. Always bring a second copy for the reader, with their lines highlighted and your name at the top.
