LISA WILL DISCUSS, AMONG OTHER THINGS:
- THE IMPORTANCE OF A GREAT SELF-TAPE AND HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR AUDITION WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE ROOM WITH THE CD
- SPECIFIC AUDITIONING SKILLS TO WIN THE ROOM WHEN YOU ARE IN THE ROOM
- PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT IN A CASTING OFFICE
- THE DIFFERENT ACTING STYLES NEEDED IN EVERY SITUATION
- DOING YOUR RESEARCH ON THE CDS SO YOU CAN TAILOR YOUR AUDITION TO THEIR "EYE".
Format Note: This class will take place entirely on Zoom! Actors must self tape after the Q&A - Lisa wants to cover her lesson plan before everybody tapes - she wants to give her notes/ideas first! You can pick any scene to tape (just make sure it follows our sides policy). We will put a link together containing all the tapes, so that you can view each others work. Lisa will provide written feedback for each tape. We will send out a link before class starts - just join the meeting, and we will begin. We will start w/ a live Q&A, covering the lesson plan above.
*If you absolutely don't have the ability to self tape, you can work your scene live during the Zoom session - just let us know in advance*
